On December 30th 2019 our beautiful little school was destroyed in the 2019/2020 bushfires. It has been a journey of healing and rebuilding and at the end of 2021 we moved into our magnificent new buildings. Our rammed earth main building houses 2 classrooms, library and staff/administrative areas. Building 2 is a new kitchen and multi-purpose/community area. Food gardens are beginning to be planted as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen-Garden Program and our new Secret Garden and playground provide great play areas, with more great outdoor spaces currently under construction.
Our wonderful outdoor stage survived the fires and has already been the site of 2 school performances since the fires and will be the focal point of many school memories for years to come. The community built pizza oven also survived and has pride of place near the kitchen.
We have been so fortunate and will be forever grateful for the generousity of so many organisations, businesses and individuals as well as the support and funding from DET and Local, State and Federal Government Departments.
