Supporting At Home
Parents have the first and most significant influence on their child’s learning. We appreciate your positive and supportive attitude at home towards school events and activities. Your continued involvement in the education of your child is important so he/she can achieve the best possible learning results.
Promoting discussion about the day’s learning and facilitating any home tasks is an excellent way to reinforce learning.
Other ways you can help develop your child’s reading, writing and maths at home are :
- listen to your child read everyday (and sign the reader cover).
- read together by sharing literature.
- talk about any take home tasks that your child has.
